Was Charles Bukowski an Anti-semite?

Lately, charges have been leveled against Buk that he was a Jew hater. Turning his old apartment house into a historical site in L.A. has been put on hold because of these allegations. Now, anyone aquainted with Bukowski's biography knows he had flirted with Nazism before and during the Second World War due largely to his romantic attachment to Germnay , which was his birthplace, and not so much, I think, due to any racist ideology. Anyone else have any thoughts about this?
