Americans say they need guns to protect themselves?

If they are in our home illegally then we are defending our property and our lives. We go on with life. Most people with Guns control themselves. Just as we do with nuclear weapons. Just because we have them, it does not mean we will use them. Yes I remember Columbine High, but one incidents does not a mean we need to give up our 2nd amendment. We have a 301 million strong militia with our 2nd amendment. This ensures that what is currently happening in Russia does not happen to us.
