A Zen Buddhist monk gave me this riddle. Can you solve it?

To obtain enlightenment, you must fast, deny your every earthly desire, and take a long journey of suffering. Then when you are at your breaking point, you must turn around and say the following mantra, and repeat it until you understand the essential truth of all religions: "Wow, that was stupid. I'm hungry, horny, and I don't have a college degree. I'm an absolute idiot."
