On the AMA award show Leonardo talked about going green.?

On the AMA award show Leonardo Di Caprio talked about going green and how he ownes a green home, a green car, etc, etc, etc and how the world should go green with him. Doesnt he realize that if you go green with some things they are way too expensive for the average person and were in a recession??? Doesnt he understand this or is he way too wealthy and out of touch with the rest of society?
