in the long run? i don't know, you should tell the parents what happened and have them take him to a doctor in the morning. it mainly effects the lungs but since he swallowed it he will most likely just poop it out, don't induce vomiting, just tell his parents and tell them to take him to the doctor in the morning or maybe clinic or er if they are really worried. best of luck
